ITINERARY

 

FIRST DAY: HANOI – TUAN CHAU ISLAND – HALONG BAY – LAN HA BAY (Lunch & Dinner)

  • 07:50 – 08:20: Luxury van picks you up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter. Enjoy the landscape of the Red River Delta on the way to Ha Long Bay. (The service is not included)
  • 11:00 – 11:30: Arriving at Lot 32 & 33 – Tuan Chau Marina – have check-in procedures at the waiting lounge while having a welcoming special tea.
  • 11:45 – 12:00: Boarding & Briefing – A speedboat will transfer you to the main vessel. Once aboard, enjoy a refreshing welcome drink during a brief safety orientation.
  • 12:45 – 13:45: Buffet lunch will be served while Nostalgia disembark into Halong Bay and Lan Ha Bay – a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
  • 14:00 – 15:45: Visit Ao Ech – a “little paradise” tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the outside world. Kayaking through the calm, emerald waters of Ao Ech offers a peaceful and unforgettable experience, allowing you to explore hidden corners surrounded by towering limestone cliffs and pristine nature.

  • 16:00 – 16:45: Nostalgia Cruise anchors for an overnight stay at Tra Bau of Lan Ha Bay – This area offers a serene landscape, perfect for immersing yourself in the bay’s natural beauty.

  • 18:00 – 18:15: A Culinary Journey – Join our culinary team for a cooking demonstration or enjoy “Happy Hour” at the bar as the sun sets. Professional massage services are also available for your relaxation.

  • 19:15 – 20:30: Savour a fusion dinner made with the freshest ingredients in the restaurant: elegant French neoclassical style mixed with traditional oriental touches.
  • 21:00 – 21:30: It is time to admire the beauty of the night on the bay. Our bar on the sundeck and in the restaurant welcomes you. You may want to try your luck with squid fishing or play some board games in the restaurant.
  • 23:00: Overnight on board.

 

SECOND DAY: LAN HA BAY – VIET HAI VILLAGE – CAT BA ISLAND (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

  • 06:00 – 6:30: The day starts early onboard Nostalgia Cruises with Tai Chi session on the sundeck.
  • 06:45 – 7:00: Enjoy a light breakfast in the dining room while admiring the stunning morning views of the bay as the cruise continues its journey through Lan Ha Bay.
  • 7:45 – 8:00: Transfer to the day boat to visit Viet Hai village. You will take a bicycle trip along the village path and go through rain forests and dark tunnel. Optional electric car service is available (at an extra cost). Enjoy stunning scenery of Vietnamese farmers’ rice fields on the way. Stop at the village to relax. Visit an ancient local house, made from straw, mud, bamboo…
    After the excursion we go back to the day boat for a traditional Vietnamese lunch on board.
  • 13:30 – 14:00: Exploration – Journey to the Ho Ba Ham and Ba Trai Dao area, a peaceful body of water perfect for scenic kayaking.
  • 16:00 – 16:30: Return to Nostalgia Cruise and join a traditional Vietnamese cooking class, where our chef will guide you through the preparation of some of Vietnam’s signature dishes. Afterwards, enjoy swimming in the bay’s pristine waters.

  • 19:00 – 20:30: Evening Dining – Another delicious fusion dinner will be served in an intimate, romantic setting.
  • 21:00 – 21:30: Relaxation Time – Enjoy the landscape of the bay at night from the top deck. Relax with drinks from the bar, try night squid fishing, or watch a movie in the restaurant.
    Option: Professional massage services remain available for booking with the Cruise Manager.
  • 23:00: End of Day Two program.
 

THIRD DAY: LAN HA BAY – HALONG BAY – HANOI (Breakfast & Brunch)

  • 06:00 – 06:30: Morning Reflections – Refresh your senses with a final sunrise Tai Chi session. Breakfast is served as we continue our journey through the karst landscape.
  • 07:45 – 09:00: Thien Cung Cave Exploration – We progress to the magnificent Thien Cung Cave. Known as the “Heavenly Palace,” this cave is celebrated for its vast chambers and intricate stalactite formations that create a mystical, otherworldly atmosphere.
  • 09:45 – 10:00: Brunch & Check-out – Return to the ship to finalize check-out procedures while enjoying a final, delightful brunch at our restaurant.
  • 11:00 – 11:30: Disembarkation – We arrive back at Tuan Chau Marina, where we bid you a warm farewell as your journey with us concludes
  • 14:00 – 14:30: Back to your drop-off point in Hanoi. (Transfer is optional)
